Coconut Shell Charcoal is carbon produced by strongly heating coconut shell in minimal oxygen which removes water and volatile constituents. Coconut shell charcoal burns at a higher temperature than wood, it does not emit smoke, it is hard to find a visible flame and coconut shell charcoal releases only heat energy. Coconut shell charcoal burns for a longer duration and has high calorific value. Coconut Shell Charcoal is natural and is renewable.
It can be used as an alternate fuel for cooking gas. (LPG)
Charcoal can be used as a filter, catalyst or as an adsorbent.
